- Reporting to the Director of Risk, responsible for conducting comprehensive Risk Audits and New Business Surveys of the UK and Ireland ID and Standard Working Capital portfolio. Analyse Financial reports. Review and update the Audit program as necessary to ensure the frequency and level of onsite testing is appropriate to adequately manage risks the Business faces. Acting as the principal point of contact with Relationship Managers and BDM’s building relationships with existing and new Business prospects, Clients and colleagues. Advance preparation prior to each Audit / new Business Surveys reading all briefing material provided and discussing the key requirements with Relationship Manager / BDM’s and other parties involved. Discuss key findings using appropriate Risk Factors prior to client visit, Identify and investigate risk issues in line with Risk Framework and to exercise professional judgment to make sound decisions whilst working alone and make recommendations at a close out meeting with prospect / Client. To work closely with the Operations team to ensure all queries / disputes on the portfolio are managed appropriately, notifying the RM’S, Credit Manager and Risk Director as required. Assisting in the management and control of risk in respect of all customers within the relationship manager’s portfolio. Interface with Finance / Risk on Credit control and Bad Debt provisions. Conduct “take on” verification of all ledgers at client site, ensure collections process is conducted in line with Banks policy, and effectively liaise with Recoveries / Relationship Manager. Train new ARM / BDM; s and External Auditor on Risk Policies as required. Manage day to day relationships with external Audit partners, update CRM ensuring all management information is updated. Supporting BDM with new leads and conducting New Business Survey. Provide independent collateral financial and system expertise conducting appropriate testing to determine the suitability of the proposed facility. Conduct and complete risk reports with appropriate Risk grading and submissions within timescale.
